1992 GANZ Pigsville BABY PIG STUMP Figurine

This is an unmarked Royal Copley Bear cub clinging to a stump. He is approx. 8 ¼ in high. His Copley paper label is missing, but he has a store price sticker from Duckwall’s with what I take to be an inventory # and a price of $ 2.19. He has four narrow runners on the bottom.

These 2 pieces of sewer tile art are in great shape. Estimated 1910. The smaller one could be a vase or a toothpick holder. Measures 3" high x 3" across the base. The double tree stump could also be used for flowers. It measures 5" wide x 4" tall. It has one minor flake on the corner of the base. They are a great example of primitive folk art. Sewer tile pieces were made by individuals at the end of the day from left over clay from the factories that made tiles. Most were not signed as these are not. They were purchased years ago from the collection of a famous auctioneer in Ohio, Garth.

Old sewer tile stoneware match holder or possible toothpick. It is a replica of a tree stump. It stands 3 1/2" tall with a 4 1/4" base dia. at the largest points. The top is hollowed out about 1 1/2" down.

This Eagle was made by using teakwood sawdust. There were no molds or carving involved. The artist used only his hands and small handheld tools to accomplish the beautiful sculpture. The eagle was then handpainted to show off his wonderfully detailed feathers. Measures: 15" Tall x 7" Wide x 8" Deep
